Promotion Terms & Conditions

This promotion ("the Promotion") is run by Yorkshire Software Solutions Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 14865900, whose registered office is at 3 Nook Green, Dewsbury, England, WF12 0BJ ("the Promoter", "YSS", "we", "us"). The Promotion is called the "Yorkshire Day Vibe Code Review" and offers five (5) winners a full Vibe Code Review (normally priced at £1,499 exc. VAT) for a reduced price of £99 exc. VAT ("the Prize"). The Promotion is run to mark Yorkshire Day 2026. There is no entry fee and entry does not require any purchase.

Entries open on 1 August 2026 and close on 31 August 2026 ("the Closing Date"). Entries received after the Closing Date will not be considered. The Promoter reserves the right to extend, shorten, or withdraw the Promotion at any time, provided this does not unfairly disadvantage entrants who have already entered.

• Open to individuals aged 18 or over who are founders, owners, or authorised representatives of a business with an application, product, or codebase eligible for review.
• Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of Yorkshire Software Solutions Ltd are not eligible to enter.
• The Promoter may verify eligibility and disqualify any entry it reasonably believes to be fraudulent, incomplete, abusive, or otherwise in breach of these terms.
• Limited to one entry per person or company. Duplicate entries may be disqualified at the Promoter's discretion.

• Entrants submit their name, work email address, and company name via the entry form at yd.yorkshiresoftwaresolutions.co.uk.
• Entrants are then emailed a personal link to a questionnaire, which must be completed in full by the Closing Date for the entry to be considered.
• No purchase is necessary to enter.

• Winners are not selected at random. The five (5) winning entries will be chosen by the Promoter's judges based on the answers given in the questionnaire, assessed against criteria including (but not limited to) the value and relevance a full code review would bring to the entrant's project, and the completeness and clarity of the questionnaire responses.
• The judges' decision is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the selection process or its outcome.
• Winners will be notified by email by 11 September 2026. The Promoter will make reasonable attempts (at least two, using the contact details provided at entry) to reach each winner. If a winner does not respond within 7 days of the first notification attempt, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner from the remaining entries.

• The Prize is one Vibe Code Review: a full written report covering data security & GDPR, performance, code maintainability, scalability, and deployment/ops, plus a one-hour walkthrough call with the Promoter's lead engineer, delivered for a fee of £99 exc. VAT (standard price £1,499 exc. VAT).
• The Prize is non-transferable. There is no cash or other alternative. The Promoter may substitute the Prize for one of equivalent or greater value where circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this necessary.
• Entrants who are not selected may, at the Promoter's discretion, be offered 10% off the standard rate for a Vibe Code Review. This is a separate goodwill offer, not part of the Prize, and is not guaranteed.
• Delivery of the Prize is conditional on the winner providing reasonable access to the relevant codebase/application, and is subject to the Promoter's standard service terms for the Vibe Code Review engagement, provided separately.

To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter accepts no liability for any loss, damage, or disappointment arising from entering the Promotion or accepting the Prize, except where liability cannot be excluded by law (including death, personal injury, or fraud). Nothing in these terms limits the Promoter's liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Personal data provided by entrants is processed in accordance with the Promoter's Privacy Notice for this Promotion, set out below. By entering, entrants confirm they have read and understood how their data will be used.

• By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
• The Promoter may amend these terms at any time; material changes will be posted on the Promotion page.
• If any part of these terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms continue in full force and effect.
• This Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any social media platform used to publicise it.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
